JustinZ is a Chinese-American singer, songwriter, and producer whose music blends modern pop-R&B with 80s and retro-inspired influences. Combining emotional songwriting, atmospheric production, and modern electronic textures, his sound has earned early recognition and a rapidly growing audience online.

His official debut, “Dreams” (2022), arrived with a Gold Remi Award-winning music video starring Bailey “Bailrok” Muñoz from So You Think You Can Dance and Emmy-nominated actress Rain Valdez. He later followed with “Runaway” (2023), “Why Can’t You Stay,” and “moonlight” (2025), with “moonlight” becoming his biggest release to date after gaining traction on TikTok and surpassing 150,000 Spotify streams as of May 2026. Together, these releases continue building momentum toward his anticipated debut album in 2026.

As an independent artist, JustinZ runs MTRNM Music (pronounced “metronome”), his platform for self-releases and creative collaborations across music and visual projects. Through MTRNM Media, he has also collaborated with artists including Sam Tsui, AJ Rafael, and asumuh while continuing to grow his career independently.

Alongside his artistry, he has worked in digital marketing and creative strategy with  Mercury Records under  Republic Records/Universal Music Group,  Alamo Records/ Sony Music, and Artist Partner Group (APG), further shaping his understanding of audience growth, artist branding, and modern music culture.
